A Classy-With-a-Twist Wedding at Elmore Court: Peach & Neutral Elegance

A Thirteen-Year Love Story

Ally and Matt had known each other long before they became a couple. Their paths crossed for over a decade, building a relationship grounded in friendship, shared history, and familiarity.

Their engagement in Paris sparked the search for the perfect wedding venue. Ally scrolled through countless options, eventually discovering Elmore Court through a Google search for “venues that serve Guinness.” The venue’s charm and flexibility won them over instantly.

Elmore Court offered everything they wanted for their UK wedding: an onsite house and grounds for friends and family, BYOB options, a bar close to the dancefloor, Guinness on tap, and a sound system ready for an unforgettable party.

The Setting: Elmore Court in Gloucestershire

Their wedding day took place entirely onsite at Elmore Court, a unique and stylish venue in Gloucestershire.

108 guests joined the couple for this lively celebration.

Style: Neutral, Peach & Subtle Drama

Rather than following a strict theme, Ally and Matt chose refined neutral tones and subtle pops of orange. The look was “classy but fun,” combining elegance with playful, personal touches.

Bridesmaids wore burnt peach and oyster gowns from Six Stories, complementing Ally’s Peng dress, “Jordan,” from Halo & Wren. Florals by Lucy Charlotte Floral kept the tonal palette modern and cohesive.

The groom and groomsmen wore classic, understated tailoring from Moss Bros, perfectly aligning with the sophisticated yet relaxed vibe of the day.

The Ceremony

Ally was walked down the aisle by her father, Barry Fryer. Family readings added heartfelt moments, including contributions from the Father of the Groom and one of the bridesmaids.

Wedding speeches reflected the couple’s close-knit connections: the Bride, Groom, Father of the Bride, Maids of Honour, and Best Men all shared personal and touching stories. Ally surprised Matt with personalised number plates of their new surname during her speech.

Evening Celebration

The evening reception featured music by Andre SaxMan Brown, blending live saxophone with DJ sets to transition from elegant cocktail vibes into a lively dance floor.

Their first dance to You’ve Got A Friend In Me by Randy Newman reflected their friendship-first relationship. Guests enjoyed wood-fired pizza and a fun, energetic atmosphere that carried on well into the night.

Planning Tips & Advice for Couples

Ally and Matt describe their Elmore Court wedding planning experience as overwhelmingly positive. Their advice to other couples is simple: focus on what you love, enjoy the process, and design a day that feels personal.

A wedding done your way leaves a celebration that is elegant, energetic, and unmistakably yours — just like theirs.
