Are you considering having your wedding in a stunning location abroad? As a destination wedding photographer, I absolutely adore capturing love stories in beautiful locations worldwide, from sun-drenched beaches and charming European cities to mountain escapes and intimate elopements in hidden gems. This year I am travelling to Dubai, France, Italy and Corfu for weddings.

Your wedding is more than just a dayβ€”it’s a unique adventure, filled with unforgettable moments, emotions, and details that deserve to be beautifully documented. Whether you’re saying I do in Italy, Greece, France, Bali, Mexico, or anywhere in the world, I’ll be there to ensure your love story is told through timeless, authentic, and artistic images.

FAQ'S

How far in advance do we book?

Congratulations on getting engaged!! It’s crazy just how far in advance I book weddings (you're all so organised)! I am currently booking in 2025 weddings. Once you have your wedding date confirmed then get in touch as soon as you can to check if I have your date available. If I am unavailable, I will recommend some similar style photographers for your date.

How long will you stay at our wedding?

I generally start around 2- 2.5 hours prior to the ceremony which is plenty of time to capture the bridal preparations. I photograph up until you hit the dance floor,  obviously after I have captured your first dance and a couple of songs after. If you require longer coverage into the evening I offer extra hours photography, which can be added at the time of booking or anytime before the day.

How many photographs should we expect?

There is no limit to the amount of photos I take on your wedding day, but I would estimate to provide you with a minimum of 600 images of what I believe to be the VERY best representation of your day. If you opt for the second photographer then I would set that minimum at 800 images.

When do you take our couple photos?

I like to shoot your couple photos into two short sessions so that you’re not away from your guests for too long.

The first is usually shortly after the ceremony - it is also the first time the two of you will have some alone time!! This session is really relaxed and a generally little walk around together.

The second session is prior to sunset or often just before your first dance. This is because the light is so much softer and lower getting that β€˜golden glow’ (fingers crossed for this in the UK)!

Should we book the second photographer?

I can only be in one place at a time. So if I am photographing bridal prep, my second photographer will be with the groom. They also capture the ceremony from the back of the aisle (which is a beautiful perspective), and they capture candids of your guests whilst I photograph the formal group photos. I would also recommend having the second photographer for larger weddings and winter weddings (where time is limited).

What do you mean by formal photos?

Despite my approach being natural and documentary style which predominantly captures your day as it occurs. However, there is place for formal group shots with your nearest and dearest, particularly parents and grandparents.

I would normally recommend limiting these to no more than 10, so that we can do these as quickly as possible to allow you to enjoy your day. Have you been to one of those weddings where this drags on for an hour whilst everyone says cheese… yeah thats not me!

Formal photos also can be informal.. >>

Do you require a meal?

I never stipulate to my couples to provide a meal for me (and my second photographer) but of course we always appreciate being fed. If not provided with a hot meal I will need to leave the site to obtain a hot meal during your wedding breakfast.

What if it rains?

Getting married in the UK usually means there is a good chance of rain! So I would always prepare for it. Pack some wellies and bring some umbrellas (I always have a few clear ones too) because we can still go out for some shots.

Group shots may be best to do inside but who said doing them inside wasn’t pretty?

Are you insured?

Yes absolutely. I am fully insured with both professional indemnity and public liability insurance. I also have plenty of equipment including DSLR’s, plenty of lenses and dozens of memory cards!

Pre Wedding Shoot.. ?

Thats a great idea! Couples who have PWS’ generally get to have a practice in front of the camera so that they’re not feeling so apprehensive about it on their big day! Its also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other a little more too, after all.. I will be spending a large proportion of your wedding day with you! You are also welcome bring along your dog or children too (but please bring someone to watch them whilst you have your couple photos as that’s the main reason for the shoot).

When will we be able to see the photos?

I take great care in the post production work on your photographs so I aim to provide your final images by 8 weeks after your wedding date. The images will be available to view via the secure online gallery. you can share this with friends & family so that they can view, and even purchase any images directly from me. The images will also then be sent to you on a presentation USB.

How do we go about booking?

That’s great news you’re thinking of booking!

In order for me to secure the date with you, I require your signed contract, booking form and non-refundable deposit. Get in touch to enquire and I’ll send you everything to proceed.

How many weddings do you photograph?

I photograph a maximum of 35 weddings per year. This is so that I can give each of my couples my undivided attention, and be available to you for any assistance in the lead up to the wedding. I close my books once I get to this number.

Can we buy an Album from you?

Yes absolutely, I offer a range of linen and leather albums. These are so important so you don’t forget those precious moments - don’t leave your images on a USB in a drawer!

Albums can be purchased before or after the wedding. You can use your online gallery to select your favourites and I will design your album for you.

Let me know if you would like more information!

Do you recommend other suppliers?

Yes absolutely. Working with many suppliers week in and week out I have come across some other amazing suppliers I would wholeheartedly recommend to my couples. I have compiled a helpful list for you that you view here at any time - please do let them know I recommended you.
