Digital and analogue Photographer

UK EDITORIAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

My approach

I photograph weddings in a blend of editorial and documentary; its a way that’s mostly documentary—quietly observing, letting things unfold naturally—while stepping in with gentle direction when it’s needed, particularly for your couples photos.

From getting ready in the morning to the chaos of the dance floor, I’m there for all of it. The big moments, of course—but more importantly, the in-between ones. The quick glances, the nervous energy, the way people are with each other when they forget they’re being photographed.

That’s the stuff that really matters.

I also shoot on 35mm film alongside digital. Film has a softness to it, a bit of grain, a feeling that’s hard to replicate. It captures things in a slightly different way—less perfect, more real—and it fits naturally into how I see a wedding day.

Let Chat

If you’re drawn to imagery that feels honest, considered, and quietly nostalgic—with nothing forced or overdone—then we’ll probably be a good fit.

I’d love to hear what you’re planning.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Once you have your date confirmed, please do get in touch as soon as possible to check availability. If I am already booked, I’m always happy to recommend other photographers with a similar style so you’re still in safe hands.

  • I generally start around 2.5- 3 hours prior to the ceremony which is plenty of time to capture the bridal preparations.

I photograph up until your evening celebrations and after I have captured your first dance and capturing some of the evening. If you require longer coverage beyond 9pm, I offer additional evening coverage which can be added at the time of booking or anytime before the day.

  • I take great care in the post production work on your photographs so I aim to provide your final images by 8-10 weeks after your wedding date. But so you can enjoy some in the meantime I will send you a sneak peek gallery within 72 hours after your wedding.

The images will be available to view via the secure online gallery. you can share this with friends & family so that they can view, and have unlimited downloads (you need to share you pin with them), and they are welcome to also purchase any professional prints directly from the gallery too- this is a really popular

  • There’s no limit to the number of photographs I take on your wedding day. Instead, I focus on capturing the story fully and thoughtfully, then carefully curate and edit the very best images.

You can expect a minimum of 700 images that beautifully reflect the essence of your day. If you choose to include a second photographer, this increases to a minimum of 900 images, allowing for even more perspective and coverage of your celebration.

  • Yes absolutely. I am fully insured with both professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

I also have plenty of equipment including back ups of both my camera bodies and lenses, and of course lots of memory cards and batteries! Having an experienced photographer also means they are very equipped for every eventuality.

  • I can only be in one place at a time, so when I’m photographing bridal preparations, my second photographer will typically be with the groom.

They’ll also capture the ceremony from the back of the aisle, offering a beautiful alternative perspective we wouldn’t otherwise achieve, while I focus on key moments from the front.

Throughout the day, they’ll also document natural, candid moments of your guests, allowing me to concentrate on formal group photographs and key storytelling images.

I would highly recommend including a second photographer for larger weddings, as well as winter weddings where time and light are more limited, ensuring your day is captured as fully and seamlessly as possible.

Generally speaking you receive a larger gallery of your day with two of us shooting - and of course, I edit all of the images so they are consistent within your gallery.

  • Great! Couples who opt for the pre wedding shoot generally get to have a practice in front of the camera so that they’re not feeling so apprehensive about it on their big day!

Its also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other a little more too.

You are also welcome bring along your dog or children too (but please bring someone to watch them whilst you have your couple photos).

  • Yes absolutely, I offer a range of linen and leather albums. These are so important so you don’t forget those precious moments - don’t leave your images on a computer screen!

Albums can be purchased before or after the wedding. You can use your online gallery to select your favourites and I will design your album for you.

Let me know if you would like more information!

  • Getting married in the UK usually means there is a good chance of rain! So I would always prepare for it. Pack some wellies and bring some umbrellas (I always have a few clear ones too) because we can still go out for some shots.

Group shots may be best to do inside but we sometimes just have to work around the weather and pop out during a dry patch - but thats my job to keep an eye on, whilst you enjoy.

  • Yes absolutely. Working within the industry for over a decade I have worked with some absolutely wonderful suppliers, and those who have a similar ethos as myself. They are all in my wedding day guide that I will send you upon booking.

  • In order for me to secure the date with you, I require your signed contract, booking form and non-refundable deposit.

Get in touch to enquire and I’ll send you everything to proceed - if you’re not quite ready and fancy a chat we can certainly arrange a call.
