Documenting precious memories. Whether you are a couple, or are expecting a baby, have just had a baby, you have a whole family, whoever your special people (or animals) are, and you would like to create some special memories - you have come to the right place.

What to expect

BOOKING YOUR NEWBORN SHOOT

For newborn shoots: I will send you my newborn guide for how to get the best out of the session. I will also take down your expected due date (EDD) as the shoot date (as of course we have no idea when baby will arrive), but once baby is safely here, and you are able to, please drop me an email to let me know so that I can send you some dates for within the two weeks proceeding that - or longer if you wish, need more recovery time.

Newborn shoots generally take place mid week days, as often dads are taking paternity leave so will be home. If you have older children, who will be at school, then sometimes we can work it to be a late afternoon so they can join in at the end.

The session itself is approximately 1.5- 2 hours and takes place in your home. I bring a selection of natural blankets, wraps and hats, but we don’t have to use them if you prefer to keep the shoot completely natural. The session is very relaxed and we have plenty of time for feeding and cuddles, should your baby need settling.

I will send you my guide on how to prepare your home, what outfits I recommend you wear etc..

Whats next?

AFTER YOUR NEWBORN SHOOT

I will spend time to post process, or edit, your images. This will be within 3-4 weeks weeks after the session.

I will email you a link to your private online viewing gallery via a password that is provided by me.

Depending on which package you choose you will select your chosen digitals and prints from the gallery. I am always on hand to help with the gallery.

The galleries are open for two weeks to enable you plenty of time to make your selections. If you opt for the top package - which has all unlimited images- this gallery will remain live for 6 months.

FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS

I also love to photograph families with a relaxed Approach. Wherever you decide to have your shoot they are all naturally focused around you, your children, your parents, pets or just as a couple.

By taking this relaxed approach that in itself keeps you all comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. In fact, there are times you won't even know I am taking some shots as I encourage you to interact as a family!

My lifestyle shoots can take place in your own home, near to your home or on location - a beach, woodland, rural field or any beautiful open space that is chosen between us. I can offer you some guidance on your location depending on both the style you envisage and the season you love when booking a shoot with me.

Displaying family photos on the wall at home really helps to raise your child's self-esteem. It demonstrates to them that they matter and that they are important to you.

Family and sibling photos are so precious and will provide you many years of wonderful memories, especially when your children grow and you forget those facial expressions and funny quirks they had at that particular time.

You also don’t have to have little ones; i love photographing older children or extended families too.

Whats next?

AFTER YOUR FAMILY SHOOT

Family shoots (that involves couples, extended families, or with little ones), take place on location in and around the Suffolk area which is often in a rural field or woodland areas, a local park, along the river or at one of the nearby coastal beaches, or perhaps you have a nice garden or space near to your home. All of these are options to consider, and we can have a chat about where is best for your family.

Family shoots take approximately one hour for up to six people. You are welcome to bring any pets with you. Extended family shoots are a little longer as there are more of you, and there is a £100 surcharge for this.

Pinterest is great for planning outfits for your shoot - search examples such as summer family photoshoot outfits OR autumnal family outfits etc... The main piece of advice is to think about all of your outfits together as one palette - do they all go together?

In the event of rain on your shoot day, we will either have a back up date or re schedule as close to the original date as possible.
