HELLO, I’M SHARON. A SUFFOLK BASED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER!

I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer, a wife, and a proud mum, based in the beautiful county of Suffolk. My journey behind the camera began in 2013 when I started sharing my daily life on Instagram—capturing the little moments of my three beautiful daughters, Yasmin, Ellie, and Amelia. My love for photography grew organically, and in early 2014, something incredible happened. Instagram reached out, asking to feature my account for Mother’s Day in the UK. I was over the moon! That day, my little corner of the internet went from 800 followers to thousands, and with it came a realisation—photography wasn’t just a passion; it was my calling.

Before photography, I worked as a full-time midwife, a role that was both deeply rewarding and incredibly personal. Over the years, I’ve had the unique privilege with some of my couple with capturing their weddings, then later, both delivering and photographing their babies. Talk about a stay on service, right?

Now, a decade into this journey, I feel so lucky to do what I love—telling stories through my lens, capturing love, laughter, and the fleeting, precious moments that make life so special. My work extends beyond weddings and families; I also teach and mentor new photographers through THE EDIT Education, sharing my knowledge and passion with both new and developing creatives.

At home, life is beautifully chaotic with my husband, Paul, our three girls, a French bulldog named Narla, and our two rescue cats, Pebbles and Otto. Family means everything to me, and that same warmth and connection flow into my work. Every couple, every family, and every small business I photograph becomes a part of my story, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of them.

My approach to my work is to be a fly on the wall capturing your day as it unfolds naturally, with some directing where it is required.

SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT ME:

I lOVE cups of tea, its always my first choice of drink whatever the season. My husband makes me one every single morning without a doubt!

I always feel the cold (another reason why having a hot tea in my hands makes me happy).
If I’m not editing you will find me in the gym either lifting weights or doing pilates - I find keeping my core strength strong really important for full day weddings as our gear is really quite heavy.
I absolutely LOVE traveLling - for 2025 I have four destination weddings booked across France, Greece and Dubai.
I have three amazing daughters who make me proud me every single day. I just love watching them develop into independent & confident young ladies!

I love my dog walks in the countryside with my frenchie Narla. She is such a sociable doggie too.
My one goal is to one day buy a renovation - instagram inspires me so much, and so many people are just so talented. I have the vision and an eye for interior design (the creative side I guess) but thats a dream I would love to achieve one day.
I love my girls trips with friends. Even though I am always super busy I always calve out a weekend for an annual girls trip, retreat, or something that helps me to switch off from the usual day to day busy life.
My favourite chocolate is cadburys mini eggs, toblerone or maltesers!
