My photography journey began after I started using Instagram in 2013. I documented my children and life in general on a daily basis. In early 2014, Instagram contacted me and asked if they could feature my account for Mothers Day in the UK. I was a little bit (Okay, Very!) excited, and I was subsequently interviewed for the feature. Thats Mothers Day I went from having 800 followers to over 60k!

Following that feature I decided I should start building a photography business of my own!
My job prior to photography was a being a full time midwife. I continue to work as a part time midwife at my local hospital as I still love so many elements of that job and I certainly didn’t train to do that to give it all up - we can have more than one passion in life, right?.
A few of the babies I have delivered, I have photographed too- how special is that? I once decided to merge my two careers and I photographed a birth - you can watch the video here (don't worry its very tastefully done)!
