Autumnal Pre wedding shoot | Nacton Shore, Suffolk

Pre wedding shoots (or engagement shoots if you prefer - I don’t tend to call them that as most couples are very much along the engagement journey by the time they have one of these shoots!) are optional in my wedding packages as an add-on.

The two main benefits of having a PWS are:

1. you get to have a little practice run in front of the camera so that you both feel less daunted (and usually surprisingly rather chilled) by the actual concept of having a few images which possibly includes some public displays of affection on your wedding day - by public I literally mean me! I do take couples off so that you don’t have an audience of your friends and family (and some ribbing from any over intoxicated groomsmen),

and

2. we - as in the pair of you, and I, get to know each other that little bit more- again building that relationship prior to your big day.

Most couples who opt for a pre wedding shoot do usually feedback that they were so glad that they had it. They also often incorporate a few shots from the PWS into their date, invites or save the dates, depending on when the shoot actually takes place.

Sharna and Glen decided to have their pre wedding shoot at Nacton Shore as it is a place that is particularly special to them both. Glen spent a huge amount of his childhood here and it has become a place that is very fond to them both, thus a place they walk regularly. Although I am always happy to offer location options I do try to encourage people to opt for places that are important to them as of course that makes those final images that little bit more special.

Feel free to pin any image you love or are inspired by on your Pinterest boards.
